Get into the conference mood and prepare with our background report
We have prepared a draft baseline report to provide participants of our SPREAD launch conference "The Future of Sustainable Lifestyles & Entrepreneurship" with some background on the current knowledge, experience and insights available on sustainable consumption and lifestyles. This document presents several themes and questions to facilitate and fuel further discussion at the conference.

The draft report aims to provide participants of the conference (taking place in Hürth, 24 / 25 May 20111) with some basic background information on the current state of research, experiences and insights available on sustainable living and consuming.
With this document we hope to stimulate with a fruitful discussion among members of the European social platform SPREAD Sustainable Lifestyles 2050. Input and comments received from conference participants, as well as the outcomes of the discussions and working groups will be included in a more elaborated ‘Baseline’ report, to be prepared after the conference.
