Exchanges with design experts at Cumulus conference in Helsinki: Upcoming SPREAD expert workshop
During the Cumulus Conference in Helsinki a SPREAD expert workshop will be hosted on 24 May 2012 in cooperation with the DESIS network (Design for Social Innovation and Sustainability) to reflect on the scenarios for sustainable lifestyles in 2050 developed by SPREAD Sustainable Lifestyles 2050.
DESIS (Design for Social Innovation towards Sustainability) is an international network of design labs, based in design schools and design-oriented universities, actively involved in promoting and supporting sustainable change.
The workshop on 24 May will involve the participants in a debate around some of the in-progress results of the SPREAD project, with a particular emphasis for the implication on social innovation and sustainability. The proposed roadmaps to the SPREAD scenarios will be analysed and developed, thanks to the new experts joining the DESIS research team and enriching the SPREAD social platform.
